The Casalinho Restaurant opened on the sands at Praia da Rocha in 1980, led by Chef João who brought to this much-desired family project decades of experience garnered from working in five-star hotels.
The peaceful, relaxing ambience at the Casalinho Restaurant is further enhanced by a menu featuring creative and flavourful international cuisine. There is a choice of 15 inspiring salads, for example, veritable symphonies of vegetables, fresh fruit, walnuts, cheeses and other ingredients combined to perfection. The talent in the kitchen at this restaurant in Praia da Rocha can also be seen from the specialities created there. We would highlight, for example, the prawns with Cajun sauce, the tournedos surf and turf or the Thai red curry.
The open-air seating area occupies a prime spot that lets you enjoy the fabulous Praia da Rocha sunset at leisure, while refreshing your spirit with delicious cocktails, caipirinhas or sangria.
To ensure that its beach concession is accessible and to allow everyone to enjoy the benefits and pleasure of the seashore, the Casalinho Restaurant provides a series of facilities, including a beach-adapted wheelchair that lets beachgoers with mobility issues enjoy the sea in safety, a defibrillator, an oxygen kit and a rigid stretcher.
Five of the staff members have done specific training to be able to respond and use these devices if needed.
