Club Naval de Portimão

Founded in October 1960 as the Associação Naval Infante de Sagres, the Clube Naval de Portimão changed to its current name in 1999.
The main purpose of this not-for-profit institution is to develop interest in recreational and competitive water sports, and to nurture the moral and physical qualities resulting from the practice of these activities.
They achieve their goal through a proximity relationship with schools, hosting conferences, organising festivals and sporting competitions and by entering into partnerships with representative bodies from the Municipality of Portimão.
